DERMONEUROMODULATION 2 DAY COURSE OUTLINE

DNM for the whole body has been traditionally taught by Diane Jacob over 3.5 days, however with extensive pre-reading and pre-course online lectures that we provide, you can develop a good understanding of the model on the 2 day course.  Teaching experience has highlighted that different groups move at different speeds during practicals. The major techniques will be practiced with a focus on the key areas that group participants usually work with. If needed any additional techniques will be demonstrated for participants to practice post course.

The original full 3.5 day DNM PDF manual from Diane Jacobs will be available for each participant. Each participant will also be provided with a  course outline and physical manual for this 2 day course for participants to follow and take notes.

COURSE DETAILS:

Mandatory Pre-course Learning Material:

  1. Pain Neuroscience Lecture /Video
  2. Pain Loops Poster – explanation of how to use this with clients
  3. Introduction to the concepts behind DNM/Video with emphasis on pre-course revision of cutaneous neural anatomy

We highly recommend that you also purchase Diane Jacobs Dermo Neuro Modulating Manual available on Amazon in both Hardcover and Kindle formats which is an invaluable resource both for therapists and clients:

Dermo Neuro Modulating: Manual Treatment for Peripheral Nerves and Especially Cutaneous Nerves eBook : Jacobs, Diane: Amazon.com.au: Kindle Store
